A Garage Sales We Will Go!
I LOVE TO THRIFT! It's way fun, like a huge treasure hunt!
My sis and I biked to a nearby neighborhood garage sale this morning. We had to be back before 10 AM to watch Michael Phelps swim his first race, so we left at 7:45 AM!
My outfit for the excursion:
I don't like wearing too much jewelry when exercising 'cause the sweat makes the jewelry stick to the skin in an unflattering and uncomfortable way.
Don't worry, the creepy shadow belongs to my sis!
Close-up of my shorts. I love the texture!
Outfit Breakdown:
Sports-bra- Target
Tank top- Old Navy
Shorts- T.J. Maxx
Havaianas- gifted from a Brazilian exchange student

XXX OLYMPIAD
I, love, I love, I just, I love the Olympics.
Did anyone read that right? Let me just reiterate, I, LOVE, THE OLYMPICS.
I can't even explain why, since I myself do not pursue a professional career in sports and I myself only practice a few but.. there's just something about worldwide, top-notch athletes gathered in one place, competing with the best...
It's just, amazing. The fact that almost every country is able to back up and support their athletes in a universal event, I think, is really something (considering Earth's history).
For the next 17 days, you can bet I'll have only two things on my mind:
The Olympics & Team U.S.A.
Oh, right, and uh... kinda really want this.
OR
just DIY one!

I took the chance to go shopping with my ever so lovely sister...
IN KANSAS CITY!
KC is a huge area for good eats, fun shopping, and all over travel; there's a lot to see!
It's a bit sad that where I live is a small city/big town, but this trip was massive in helping me pick up pieces of clothing I've been crrrraaaving for foreeeever i.e. something lacy...
Baseball Tee: Alternative Earth via Plato's Closet//Red Shorts: Abercrombie&Fitch//White V-Lace Dress: Monteau via TJ Maxx//Blue Scarf: Christopher & Banks//Bra: Victoria's Secret//Sweater and Peter Pan Collar Dress: XXI//Foldable Flats: BCBGeneration
Completely satisfied and more than excited to wear them all!
'Cept the sweater. Looking at it makes me sweat... BUT IT'S SO PERFECT.
Cheers to ever expanding wardrobes!

Motivational Monday
Fresh out of yet another leadership camp and weekend of fun, I'm ready to just throw away my exercise schedule in favor of some out-of-this-world mint chocolate chip gelato...
No no no, MUST STAY FOCUSED.
Huge haul up next (and that's just from this past weekend... I need to stop spending. Really.)

Review: Facial Cleanser
I received the following cleanser for free from a Korean family friend.
Pros:
It was a free gift.
Cons:
Cons:
This is the most drying cleanser I've ever used! I expected so much from it 'cause
it's from The Face Shop, and I've heard great things about the store. But
this 3 in 1 cleanser dried my skin OUT so much after one use that I had
to skip the toner in case it stripped my skin even more. Then I had to apply mousterizer twice afterwards at different times for my skin to feel nice and smooth again.

'Twas 99º...
... and Heat Wave #2 has just begun!
This summer has been ridiculous, not one day has the high not been in the high 90s!
Will this ever end?!
... okay, I know it shall, but, I am enjoying the summer...
Curse my conflicting likes.

Zara+Sale
Zara Sale.
And not just ANY sale, mind you, a real, cut-down, around 50% SALE. Just thought I'd share since I couldn't contain myself among the really affordable and beautiful, amazing quality clothes.
Zara basics should be in every girl's closet, they're THAT good.
I picked up a few pieces, but this beautiful dress either escaped me >pretty impossible< or just wasn't in the store I had gone to. Definitely the latter.
So so so obsessed.
I need
this
dress.
One size left; S.
Find it, and more, here.

Busy Body Bee
Since my return to the U.S.ofA., I'm embarrassed to admit that I have yet to find enough room for all of my new buys.
Did I go overboard? Maybe I need to get rid of some old stuff? Should I get some sort of organizing... thing?
All of these questions haunt me so. So, in the meantime, I've just been tackling organization one area after another and otherwise procrastinating relaxing.
Coming Soon: Some of my haul pictures.
Now Playing: Just what I've really been doin'; NAILS.
NYC In a Minute Quick Dry >Clear< Polish, From China, Shisem Silver
Unfortunately, the "mint" is really more sea-foam green so I'm still on my search for the perfect mint nail-polish! Not to fear though, this metallic silver turned out beautifully.
Coming up, a DIY project I did on a whim for the last days of summer. I can't decide between classic white v-neck and color-blocking... Suppose I'll be donning both tops with black skinnies this fall!

China '12; Outfits
The many cities that we visited were all extremely humid, despite 'weather' the sun shone or not.
... teehee.
... teehee.
This made getting dressed more of a chore in the mornings than what I believe fashion is supposed to be (which would be fun, of course).
Breezy dresses were a good choice, but not always convenient seeing as how my family goes to a museum and climbs a mountain in the same day... So I lived in shorts and however short a top I could manage! Here's just a few shots I could get, sorry I was so busy..
Blue Belt: *//Salmon shorts: Roxy//White V-Neck: Hanes//Flip-Flops: Havaianas//Silver Necklace: JCP (similar one here)//Tortoise Shades: claire's//Dress: Gianni Bini via Dillard's//Skirt: thrifted//Sandals: Birkenstock
My trusty Diesel bag is a couple years old and always serves me extremely well on vacations. I had it all fixed up while in China, thank goodness.
Unfortunately, I don't know much about it...
Just that I love it.
Have a be-you-tiful Sunday!
