Man, it's brutal out here! #iykyk

With temperatures reaching 100s this week, everyone should be sun-protecting! Below are the current sunnies protecting my precious eye areas.

First loves are my Ray-Bans (American). I own the classic Clubmaster, Wayfarer, and Aviator!

Clubmaster was a gift to myself for graduating law school.

Aviators were both gifted. One lens is more blue (top photo), the other is more green (bottom photo).

Wayfarer was handed-down from my sis, because it kept sliding off her nose.

Bought this in Seoul, SK in 2017! They're not branded, but I loved the big cat-eye shape too much to care.

 

This Max Mara tortoiseshell cat-eye sunny (Italian) was a birthday gift from my lovely sis. She scored them at Nordstrom Rack!
 

This Prada Baroque black sunny (Italian) was my first designer pair of sunglasses. However, the seller didn't provide the original case, so it's likely fake :(  But I loved the curved frame and was on a tight budget, so I still purchased 'em.

Makeup Minimalist

I'm a self-professed make-up minimalist due to my obsession with skincare. I'd rather spend my resources on skin because:

1. Skin is our largest organ
2. I want to be confident barefaced, and
3. I'm too lazy to apply make-up everyday

But this doesn't mean I don't wear make-up! My current make-up bag holds the following (I've had this make-up bag since high school!): 

I prefer keeping my make-up natural, so instead of foundations I use CC creams or BB cushions. 

TIP: Apply sunscreen after your morning skincare routine and before your first make-up layer!

My mascaras and eyeliners are black or brown. My eye shadows are neutral tones, and my lipsticks don't stray from red, pink, and nudes.  

TIP: Keep perfume samples in your makeup bag to remind yourself to freshen up!

It always puzzled me as to why designers released collections well before the said season, however with the recent snowstorm, all I'm doing is spending my time swathed in plush throws...

... and absolutely dying over Prabal's Fall 2013 collection.

Talk about romantic, dark, chic, tough, feminism all rolled into one!
