Thrifty Nifty

Alright, now I have said before that I'm currently quite addicted to thrifting...

and I was not kitten.

Introducing the Windbreaker & Leather Belt

Windbreaker: Gap
It has so many fun pockets with clips and rings for attaching life-saving items (or just whatever) adding to its utility look. I love that the color is so versatile for many outfits, and the zipped in hood is WAY cool.
The pictures do not do the olive justice.

Leather Belt: Kenneth Cole
The color is what grabbed me initially. The silver buckle was so cute. The quality leather sold me. What more can I say, this belt is so classic!

I've already worn the jacket on several occasions, mostly to test it out. Who knew, windbreakers really live up to their name!

*I apologize beforehand for the poor picture quality*

Thrifted

You've already seen the Harry Potter inspired scarf that I thrifted, but did you know I also carried a load of other goodies home?

Well, now you do!

I'm beyond excited to start off the new year with these staples. I still have a wishlist of necessary clothes, however I'm more than satisfied with these. Be ready for many outfits including one (if not as many as I can layer) of these!
Bear with me, the photos don't always do these pieces justice!

All were found at Goodwill, my new thrift go-to. Prices are amazingly low, and the quality is impressively high (if you pay close attention to brand, fabric, and inspection!).

*descriptions of each item and its price are found underneath each group of pictures*

Twas 61º...

... and despite the amount of sunshine, it's very much chilly and perfect autumn weather!

This week's homecoming week, which equates to SPIRIT WEEK. And today so happened to be themed 'Grease'.

Now, I have absolutely no idea why today is 'Grease' day since it doesn't relate to our school at all, but it gave me the perfect chance to either establish myself as a Pink Lady or a Greaser for 24 hrs.

Of course, I chose Greaser.

Hellooooo leather jacket!
I didn't get the color or cut of the jeans quite right but I was warmly received by all the fellow Greasers.
