TERMINOLOGY:

Denim refers to the fabric.

Jeans refer to pants made out of denim.

Wash= The color of the jean.

• For example- Light, Medium, Dark, Indigo

Cut= The style or shape of the jean.

• For example- Flared, Boot-cut, Straight, Tapered, Capri

Fit= How the jean hugs the contours of the body.

• For example- Boyfriend/Natural= loose, Skinny/Slim= tight

Rise= Where the jean sits on your hips

• For example- High, Mid, Low
