Just a few days ago...

There's no excuse.
It has been, well quite long, let's see.. it has been forever.
Really!
I feel as though life was merely a VHS tape (anyone remember those?) put on fast forward and just now paused. Whew! Thanks to a great family vacation and time off from school -HOLLA- I would like to believe I'm back in the game.

Blogging, and now vlogging, is not to be taken lightly. At first this was a dream in the works, and to be frank it still is. Not quite figured out what exactly I want to do with it, but then again I do not know what I'm going to do with life in general.

Follow me if you dare!

Winter Lights

Just had to take a moment to share Japan's Winter Lights Festival.

It has officially moved to the Top 5 on my Bucket List.

You should know now that I have a major, maaaaaajooorrrr crush on Japan and everything Japanese. Just, you know, information for the future...

Inspire On

Getting over this retched nasal congestion that hit me. I suppose I should be glad I didn't get the whole virus.. but I'm still going to complain.

Just a 'lil.

While I felt all mopey and nasally dead, here's a bit of what really kept me going.

Enjoy xx

China Trip '12 + Dior Addict

While I sit here, in the afternoon, eating Pocky from the horde I brought back from China and drinking real good, cold skim milk, I realize...

I woke up pretty early today. Just in time for lunch breakfast.

From Hong Kong's amazing four story Forever 21 to the Yellow Mountain, please forgive my out-of-order pictures.

&& MY OH MY! Be on the cover of your very own Dior Addict magazine on Facebook here; it's silly FUN!

*Don't forget to read more... there's quite a bit!*

China '12; Outfits

The many cities that we visited were all extremely humid, despite 'weather' the sun shone or not.
... teehee.

This made getting dressed more of a chore in the mornings than what I believe fashion is supposed to be (which would be fun, of course).

Breezy dresses were a good choice, but not always convenient seeing as how my family goes to a museum and climbs a mountain in the same day... So I lived in shorts and however short a top I could manage! Here's just a few shots I could get, sorry I was so busy..

Blue Belt: *//Salmon shorts: Roxy//White V-Neck: Hanes//Flip-Flops: Havaianas//Silver Necklace: JCP (similar one here)//Tortoise Shades: claire's//Dress: Gianni Bini via Dillard's//Skirt: thrifted//Sandals: Birkenstock

My trusty Diesel bag is a couple years old and always serves me extremely well on vacations. I had it all fixed up while in China, thank goodness.

Unfortunately, I don't know much about it...
Just that I love it.

Have a be-you-tiful Sunday!

And we're back in 3, 2...

1!

Aaaaahh~ Dorothy said it best, there's no place like home!

There's also nothing like traveling, I love everything about it:

packing
airports&planes
taxis
cafés/restaurant hopping
busy streets
extended family
big, industrial cities
new places
rural, farming areas
new people
etc.

I've yet to finish organizing all of my travel photos, but know that I will definitely create a series of posts for it.

Firstly, we hit Hong Kong and may I just say, Hong Kong people have amazing style. I regret not snapping everyones' outfits, they were so good.

High-end designer stores, cheap flea market finds, and adorable school uniforms; what more could I have wanted?

There's much, much more to come!

Sat-all-day

So the post title's not entirely true, I stood for a good two-hours while volunteering and hunted around the mall to find exactly what I wanted to gift my mum, but..

I've pretty much sat all day Saturday.

I'm CONVINCED that this 54¢ bracelet's handmade w/ copper, if you held it you would too! And I managed to catch a glimpse of the most beautiful, French-style silver-plated candelabra that a friend bought; 'twas a thrift score day!

Planning on running later so Olive Garden won't kill me.
But for now.. Snapple Peach Tea and mini pizza style crackers fo' snack; nomnom.
