1D in KC

I'm We're going to overlook the fact that I spent way too much money and energy on this trip, and instead freak-out about my magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience in Kansas City. For starters, I have bruises all over my legs... which makes no sense since I was only fist-pumping and jumping all over the place (okay so maybe there's a little sense).

Putting my haul off 'til later, since it covers the majority of my queen-size bed (this might be a problem), I wanted to share some shots of what we did and where we went!

The Country Club Plaza, or The Plaza for short, is KC's premiere shopping center. Burberry, American Apparel, H&M, J. Crew, Tiffany & Co., and many many more all reside there in Modern-Tuscan buildings. I was floored!

If anyone knows how to make a display, it's Kate Spade.

This worker looked too cute! She graciously talked about her necklace and favorite items. That dresss~

How siick are this woman's shoes?! I'm smitten. From Aldo Shoes.

If I had $2,294 this Burberry jacket would have left on my back. Sadly, it was blazing hot and my debit card was crying in a corner. The studs, the leather, the zippers, oh my!

Concert gear! For those who aren't Directioners/Fangirls/Obsessed/Insane, the shirts are play on lyrics from different One Direction songs. I'm sportin' the cobalt blue shorts, a small portion of my haul from KC.

I'm still sore from the concert on Friday, so I must go recline and figure out whether or not the whole weekend was real..

I CANNOT HANDLE ANYTHING ANYMORE THEY ARE PERFECT AND I'M IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM SO MANY FEELS.

One Direction

I didn't choose the fangirl life, the fangirl life chose me.

And woe, the heart-wrenching, money-snatching life it is! I'd much rather have a shoe fetish, instead... okay, so I have both. Tough.

Tomorrow I have the privilege of attending a One Direction concert, AND I'M PRETTY MUCH THE MOST EXCITED LADY AROUND I MEAN LOOK AT THEM I KNOW THEY'RE SO CHARMING (and they're actually around my age, so let me have this)!

Along with their good looks and talent, their styles created a massive craze among us fangirls. While it's not all too original, each boy has his own signature style.

Harry Styles
loves the preppy look. Think Tommy Hilfiger and Burberry. His use of blazers and well tailored clothing is a style I absolutely love.

Signature Piece: Blazer

Louis Tomlinson
is much more playful with his style. His signature outfit is composed of the nautical striped shirt and red pants. Not going to lie, I might have jumped on the bandwagon... It's just so cute.

Signature Piece: Horizontal Stripes

Niall Horan
is the most laid-back boy of the bunch. He loves to sleep and eat, so he's on the right track. Comfort is his number one priority! He loves Supras and high-tops, what a boy.

Signature Piece:
High-top Sneakers

Liam Payne
is >ironically< the most 'All-American' styled Brit. He loves a good plaid, monochrome outfit, and laid-back sneaks. He's able to look put together yet I-just-threw-on-clothes at the same time. Give me that skill.

Signature Piece:
Baseball Tee

Zayn Malik
is the perfect love child of Rock and Skater. Not only because, in this picture, he skateboards but his overall style is so nonchalant cool. He loves OBEY, a snapback, and attitude.

Signature Piece:
Varsity Jacket

'Twas 79º...

and the weather has lessened! Praise the Lord!
After the massive heat wave aka last week, it's now breezy, not so humid, and still sunny.
Weather, let me embrace you.

Feeling quite girly with this new circle, slightly pleated skirt. Woe it does not have pockets, but it's still cute and gets me closer to this! Since I ended up running errands after work, boots and a utility jacket were all I needed.

'Twas 59º...

... and the weather couldn't be more dreary!

Although I love rain, I don't enjoy being caught between a rainstorm and a snowstorm. Felt like it was only appropriate to dress a bit grunge, complete with layers and a rain jacket.

Thrifty Nifty

Alright, now I have said before that I'm currently quite addicted to thrifting...

and I was not kitten.

Introducing the Windbreaker & Leather Belt

Windbreaker: Gap
It has so many fun pockets with clips and rings for attaching life-saving items (or just whatever) adding to its utility look. I love that the color is so versatile for many outfits, and the zipped in hood is WAY cool.
The pictures do not do the olive justice.

Leather Belt: Kenneth Cole
The color is what grabbed me initially. The silver buckle was so cute. The quality leather sold me. What more can I say, this belt is so classic!

I've already worn the jacket on several occasions, mostly to test it out. Who knew, windbreakers really live up to their name!

*I apologize beforehand for the poor picture quality*
