• Cheaper than OPI, $6 a bottle
• Beautiful matte blue that is close to the color of the passport
• Without a topcoat, didn't start to chip 'til 2nd day

Cons

• More expensive
• Color marks off on paper, wall, book pages, etc. if nail swipes hard enough

"You've Got Mail"

Coming home yesterday and opening the mailbox was Christmas Day shoved into a timespan of three seconds. 

Two plastic covered packages, both labeled for me. egad.

The First:

A couple weeks back, I was notified by KingdomCulture that I had won their giveaway; MOMENTOUS.

Their customer service is impeccable; I e-mailed them about the size of the sweatshirt and they were very nice about ensuring it would fit me!

The quality is really great&the fleece lining must be the softest ever made.

The Second:

My Links of London inspired bracelet arrived in record time, and the quality is impressive. Very, very excited to be wearing a look-a-like to Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and the rest of One Direction!

^Perfect for the athletic-inspired outfit I've been planning.

Happy Thanksgiving Break & Safe Traveling to All!

Just because you're thankful, doesn't mean your body can't look great doing so! Better yet, be thankful for the body you have. 

And then amp it up.

 

DIY Galaxy Tee

I surprised even myself that I managed to squeeze this DIY in! Though I underestimated just how long it would take, luckily I could let it sit overnight.

The hairdryer helps a lot, but even then I had to hold the heat over one place for more than a few minutes at times.

The ratio of bleach to water is crucial in colouring and intensity.

I have learned a few new tricks I'd like to do for another shirt (an improved one) that will combine a brush technique I use with  ink.

Either way, take a peek at the results, and let me know if you like it as much as I do!

**I am working on a method to brighten the colour.

Materials:

• Bleach

• Water

• Cotton t-shirt

• Spray Bottle

• Hairdryer (optional)

• Paintbrush (optional)

• Plastic bags (optional)

DIY Inspiration

With Thanksgiving coming up, I am busy helping prepare large portions of food, making my Black Friday plans (HOLY ALL THINGS YESYESYES), and making up loads upon loads of homework.

If I thought I was bogged down before.. well... it has gotten worse. I need a machine that either does all my work for me, or slaps me when I procrastinate.

However, amidst all the crazy events and friends, I am determined to make this Galaxy Top. I have been lussssting after galaxy print EVERYTHING this whole year.

Same note:

I am loving the bleach-painting technique! It seems simple >enough< and is a fresh way to create a permanent design.

Sometimes, Sharpie just is not enough.

Style Crush

My fave Olsen twin has always been Ashley. As she's matured, so has her style.

I look to Ashley for fashion inspiration because I love her style!

Ashley's style is a great mix of girly and rock & roll! 

Ashley's also my style crush because we have similar body proportions. We're both petite!

So I look to her to see how to dress for my body, what lengths work and don't work, etc.

Treat yourself! 

I love giving myself manicures. It's relaxing and something productive to do while watching tv!

Wet 'n Wild: Wild Shine- Burgundy Frost, or 412A

Pros:

• The color in the bottle matches the color on the nail.
• Great shimmer effect
• Dries fast
• Love the color! It's perfect for Fall and Winter
• Cheap- Purchased at Walgreens on sale for $0.99!

Cons:

• Chips easily without a top coat
• Needs more than 2 coats for color to not be pale.
• Color rubs off of everything without a top coat

Conclusion: Would purchase again if on sale. Could be a good stocking stuffer!
