VACAY-AWAY!

Lovelies,

My sister and I are traveling to China! The trip's going to take a dreadful long time, which is actually good for me because I freaking love traveling; the airports, the rush, the people, the planes, EVERYTHING.

However, this does mean that posts will be as spare as can be...

...A Clash of Kings! Book 2 in The Song of Fire & Ice series.

HBO's Game of Thrones is currently on its second season. 

Not all the episodes have aired, and since I'm emotionally invested and connected to the characters I wanted to know what would happen before the season ended. 

The book series and tv show are thoroughly entertaining addicting!

Nifty&Thrifty

Other than the Salvation Army, the only other thrift store here is Rockstar & Rogers, who actually buy your old stuff.

It was a bit disappointing at first to hear that my sister and I's old clothes sold for store credit... HOWEVERR, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise!

Authentic Dooney & Bourke shoulder bag. AUTHENTIC, DOONEY & BOURKE. Never, EVER thought this sort of thing could happen to me! The superb condition it's in is a mayj plus to its shape, which I'm just in love with.

Oh and have I mentioned the D&B wallet? THE D&B WALLET? I'm going to have a lot of moolah to stuff this baby, since both items were so cheap/bought with store credit/FREE! 

Wiped down with anti-bacterial wipes and cleaned out thoroughly by moi.

They're my babies, which would explain why I took so many pictures, which would also explain why you just must read on... !

Currently Watching...

...Foster the People's new music video for their single "Houdini". It's a great song! I enjoy the music video 'cause it has a strong plot!

So the post title's not entirely true, I stood for a good two-hours while volunteering and hunted around the mall to find exactly what I wanted to gift my mum, but..

I've pretty much sat all day Saturday.

I'm CONVINCED that this 54¢ bracelet's handmade w/ copper, if you held it you would too! And I managed to catch a glimpse of the most beautiful, French-style silver-plated candelabra that a friend bought; 'twas a thrift score day!

Planning on running later so Olive Garden won't kill me.

But for now.. Snapple Peach Tea and mini pizza style crackers fo' snack; nomnom.

Due to my sister's inspirational lace post, I decided to put the following outfit together.

It was a humid day, so I paired the top with shorts for lunch out with friends.

Just last week I suffered through Ruffles Mania, and I have almost fully recovered (total lie)when BAM.

Lace has ALWAYS been an immense inspiration and love for me, especially since I'm Detail's biggest advocate.

After watching Season 1 of GAME OF THRONES, I decided that I wanted to read the fantasy series.

So far the tv show is a great adaptation of the book.

This book is entertaining and indulges the geek in me!
