'Twas 91º...

and it was so freaking hot why in the world did I even bother putting on clothes?!

Ahh right, because this skirt was too dang cute. I HAD to wear it! Went out with my galpals for a Sunday lunch and ran a few errands before the heat beat us home. Beat as in I felt physically defeated... but thank goodness for the revival from frozen yogurt & ice-cream!

Again with the Ralph Lauren shirt, when will I stop you ask? NEVER.

(Just kitten of course! Hahaha... ha..)

 Shirt: Polo by Ralph Lauren//Skirt: Gap//Shoes: Candie's//Watch: Seiko//Cuff: gifted//Bangle: AE//Flower Ring: Chanel

Spotted this tropical maxi outside of church; it's so on trend & perfect for sunny days! I want to take it to Hawaii asap

Also, met a wonderful Nigerian woman. Traditional tribal clothing is immensely fascinating. I love how fashionable it is while practical; breathable dress with matching head scarf keeps the heat away. She's also just so darling!

IT'S JUST SO FLOUNCY.

1D in KC

I'm We're going to overlook the fact that I spent way too much money and energy on this trip, and instead freak-out about my magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience in Kansas City. For starters, I have bruises all over my legs... which makes no sense since I was only fist-pumping and jumping all over the place (okay so maybe there's a little sense).

Putting my haul off 'til later, since it covers the majority of my queen-size bed (this might be a problem), I wanted to share some shots of what we did and where we went!

The Country Club Plaza, or The Plaza for short, is KC's premiere shopping center. Burberry, American Apparel, H&M, J. Crew, Tiffany & Co., and many many more all reside there in Modern-Tuscan buildings. I was floored!

If anyone knows how to make a display, it's Kate Spade.

This worker looked too cute! She graciously talked about her necklace and favorite items. That dresss~

How siick are this woman's shoes?! I'm smitten. From Aldo Shoes.

If I had $2,294 this Burberry jacket would have left on my back. Sadly, it was blazing hot and my debit card was crying in a corner. The studs, the leather, the zippers, oh my!

Concert gear! For those who aren't Directioners/Fangirls/Obsessed/Insane, the shirts are play on lyrics from different One Direction songs. I'm sportin' the cobalt blue shorts, a small portion of my haul from KC.

I'm still sore from the concert on Friday, so I must go recline and figure out whether or not the whole weekend was real..

I CANNOT HANDLE ANYTHING ANYMORE THEY ARE PERFECT AND I'M IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING ABOUT THEM SO MANY FEELS.

Twas 61º...

... and despite the amount of sunshine, it's very much chilly and perfect autumn weather!

This week's homecoming week, which equates to SPIRIT WEEK. And today so happened to be themed 'Grease'.

Now, I have absolutely no idea why today is 'Grease' day since it doesn't relate to our school at all, but it gave me the perfect chance to either establish myself as a Pink Lady or a Greaser for 24 hrs.

Of course, I chose Greaser.

Hellooooo leather jacket!
I didn't get the color or cut of the jeans quite right but I was warmly received by all the fellow Greasers.

And we're back in 3, 2...

1!

Aaaaahh~ Dorothy said it best, there's no place like home!

There's also nothing like traveling, I love everything about it:

packing
airports&planes
taxis
cafés/restaurant hopping
busy streets
extended family
big, industrial cities
new places
rural, farming areas
new people
etc.

I've yet to finish organizing all of my travel photos, but know that I will definitely create a series of posts for it.

Firstly, we hit Hong Kong and may I just say, Hong Kong people have amazing style. I regret not snapping everyones' outfits, they were so good.

High-end designer stores, cheap flea market finds, and adorable school uniforms; what more could I have wanted?

There's much, much more to come!
