Love Pink

When my sister and I went to Victoria's Secret's Semi-Annual Sale, it was madness.

Madness as in I grabbed way too many things and very nearly bought all of them. As my wallet thanked me for not doing so, I delight to share with you my haul

Halter Mesh Bra, 'Flirt' Nail-polish, Navy lace bandeau, Summer Daze Spray (WHY DOES THIS SMELL SO GOOD?!), PINK Spring Break: Jasmine Lime Self-Tan Body Mist

The bandeau, surprisingly, is super versatile! I've been wearing it every weekend with my low-cut, sheer tops. Really helps me keep cool and the lace is too cute.

However, I had a problem with the nail-polish..

It was flaky, too liquid-y, and overall a poor polish. I reckon it might have been the base coat that ruined it, however the polish itself still wasn't all that great.

Sore and sad, I went to exchange it for a 2-in-1 Base Top Coat. Course it does not end there, and I ended up being sucked into an even greater sale (after several days Beauty Products are 75% off and All Bras have an extra 20% off!).

Frozen apple & sparkling cassis smells divine and the left container is a mousse. It looks so good, I would eat it >if it did not caution against it<. The new polish isn't quite oxblood colored, but it sure lives up to its name, 'Do Not Disturb' (and let us not ponder on its name, please).

'Twas 87º & Father's Day...

and boy did we have a surprise for my dad!
Since young he's had an interest in aviation, so we planned a surprise flying lesson for him. Needless to say, we were ALL excited about it!

I find it hard to buy a gift for my dad, since he's not into fashion, cars, cooking, you catch my drift. Gifting him with a once-in-a-lifetime experience like piloting was perfect.

Sporting my newly dressed hat and 1/3 of the latest, great haul from Goodwill. Can you believe someone would donate these babies?!

DIY Quickie

This is the simplest DIY ever. Really.

Remember how I bought a large, floppy hat but needed to change it up? Well, luckily the previous burlap fabric was glued on (and not all too well).

I simply removed it and put on new ribbon. Max three steps!

Thinking of getting some grosgrain navy ribbon to have a flouncier bow. But for now, it'll do, it'll do.

'Twas 84º...

and summer has hit full force! Ah, the rays of sunshine delivering Vitamin D and possible health problems. Slab on some moisturizer with SPF and I'm all for being outdoors!

With a fan. And AC. And a cold drink.

But outdoors yea whoohoo!

A flouncy skirt, complete with bright orange&pink polka-dots is perfect for a girly skip - and spin - around town.

Ice-cream floats are always a great way to end the day! Though my ice-cream to soda ratio tends to be a bit skewed.. (it's summertime, I need my ice-cream!)

'Twas 77º...

.. and my family and I was honored to attend a close family friend's wedding. Now, despite the high temp, the wind was a big bully so that explains the blazer.

Well, that and the blazer's just so perfect for the outfit.

I wish I took many many many pictures of the bride's dress, but alas by the time I thought of it we were already driving back home. It was lace, long, and figure-huggingly perfect!
